I don't know how you find the energy and time to put these together, but I am so grateful you do! I don't think I ever heard you sing I Still Believe. Beautiful! And the birth story as well.
Before I left NY a bunch of us came to see you perform. You sang The Prayer that night with Nicholas. Not a dry eye that night at our table or tonight as I watch on my computer! Much needed! Robyn just turned 34 as well...yikes...enjoy your upcoming travels.
Liz, as you know,I'm a tech wizard. Hence it took much effort to find this reading. However, it was worth the effort. It is always a treat to hear your voice.
You are an absolute delight!
I attended a brunch Sunday with from folks from New York. They are also theatre lovers. The name Sondheim came up. And instantly, one of the women said "Liz Callaway ". I proudly said "I know her". Told her the story of the Chicago coffee shop frequented by your father and my mother. She asked the name of the shop. I told her she would have to contact Dan Foster for that information.
This is such a beautiful performance with your son and a truly amazing story! I'm a mom of 3 boys and I too feel like my two year old is going to be a singer. I call him my Broadway baby. He sings with me all the time❤️ I've adored you since I was a little girl and you've brought some of my favorite characters to life through their singing voices. It's been my dream to one day meet you and pray I will! I used to live in New Bern, NC where you recently performed and I hate I missed your concert as I now live several hours away. I hope you'll come back or maybe even closer to where I live in North Carolina. Keep singing and I know one day I'll finally get to meet you Liz☺️
What a special post. Thank you for sharing such a personal and important time in your life. My family and I were in the audience when you and your son performed—unforgettable. Happy birthday to your dear son. ❤️
We've heard you and Lia sing that (I Still Believe) a hundred times.....still brings tears. What fabulous, emotional singing. Sure enjoyed meeting you on Seth's recent cruise!!
Liz, this was so beautiful to read! I’m so impressed with your strength, incredible. Also, I loved the part about your husband setting off the smoke alarm and showering with his underwear, haha. Happy birthday to Nicholas!!
Always love to read your newsletters! Happy Birthday to Nicholas! I'm glad to have met him a few times! Great pictures. And the videos are wonderful. Best to you for your upcoming performances!
Wow, what a story! And how fantastic that the sweet baby you delivered would grow up to be such a handsome man with the innate talent to sing so beautifully with his mother. Congrats, and thanks for sharing. It was really a treat to hear both of those videos. -Jenifer Tice
p.s. You inspired me to sing "99 Miles from LA," so thanks for that, as well. I'd forgotten all about that song and its haunting melody.
That was great. My oldest, Michael, is a March baby (12, going on 24). Funny, my first build your own subscription, so I could snag good seats to the national tour of Anastasia, included Miss Saigon! It was a really good, and yes, sad show. My oldest son wrote a Minecraft-themed (yes, the computer game and soon-to-be movie) with his best friend. Get well soon.
Thanks for sharing your story , Liz. You are a real trooper. So glad I got to see your great performance in “ Miss Saigon”. Also a beautiful duet with Nicholas. He definitely had the best voice of any finance major. Also loved you duet with him at your Sondheim revue. ❤️❤️👏👏
Great newsletter as usual! So excited to be seeing you on Saturday in Quincy! 🙂
So glad you’ll be there!

I remember that night! Miss you! I need to get a gig near you. Although my tennis isn’t what it was!
Thank you so much, Liz for including this story, and a wonderful story it is. What a set of experiences! And Happy Birthday Nicholas
Thank you!
Somehow I did not include earlier that Mari and I saw you in Miss Saigon on B'way. What a treat it was.
