I watched all three videos. Your musical interpretations are magical. The song from BROWNSTONE….poignant…(My daughter Emma sings it too, so I know it well!)❤️
We were so lucky to see your show in September at Feinstein’s in San Francisco! Gorgeous and kind, as always! (And my daughter Tatum loved chatting with you about her Dodgers and your Mets! :-)
I consider myself one lucky New Englander. I got to see Liz Callaway in concert on Sunday. The show was so beautiful and moving. The audience just loved Liz and gave her several standing ovations. Looking forward to her next concert in the Boston area.
Wonderful read! Happy Anniversary to you and Dan. I've been a fan since 1981, and so appreciate what you bring to a song -- from shows to recordings, cabarets to concerts, livestreams to car vids. Backup plan, indeed. Thanks for sharing.
So many fun baseball memories. So sad for you and all Mets fans. I was teaching in Brooklyn in 1986 and accompanied a group of French foreign exchange students over the Brooklyn Bridge to try to go to the ticker tape parade. Never made it off the bridge because of the throngs of fans. The French students loved the whole experience so I guess it worked out?
Excited to listen to the music from Brownstone….and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!❤️
Happy anniversary to you and Dan, and many more! “Brownstone “ was the first time I saw you on stage. I was hooked immediately, seeing all of your Broadway/ off broadway shows and buying all of your cd’s. I saw “ Brownstone “ at one of the Sunday matinees where the cast answered questions from the audience. You were so engaging and down to earth. Love these newsletters. Rooting for your Mets❤️❤️⚾️⚾️🙏
Oh, that is cute. My dad, who grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon (Google it, it's a real place), has a similar story about his love for the Green Bay Packers. It involved him in hospital room, watching Super Bowl II. He shared that on his final visit to Coos Bay in 2016, when his cancer was even then, too far advanced for a cure. I remember being in shock when I learned they were not an Oregon football team (the "bay" and shared color with the Oregon Ducks) played tricks on my child mind. A shared hatred for the Yankees, the fact one of my favorite movies is Frequency (which is set during the 1969 Miracle Mets run), and the fact they're not in the same Legue as the Seattle Mariners make this an easy team to root for.
Both my parents, and both paternal uncles are diehard Ducks. I, on the other hand, am a graduate of the University of Washington, they're sworn rivals. I could've gone to Oregon, but had no desire to move to Eugene (I've been there before, several times), and didn't feel like paying an extra $10,000 in out-of-state tuition for the pleasure.

Thanks, Jen. Tatum must be so happy- the Dodgers played great.

What a fun memory of that time in '86. I'm disappointed we didn't get to the World Series, but it was an amazing season.
Another great article LOVE that song from Brownstone, and especially your performance.
Thanks, Scott!
Absolutely charming. As always.
Thank you, Benjamin. I hope you noticed how I spelled "livestream."
You bet I did!
I also remember the exact place where I saw the Buckner. A bar in Lincoln Park.
Love this! Happy Anniversary too!
Thanks, Barbara. I miss you!
Great read Liz. Very illuminating about The Mets and the World Series for us Brits!! Thank you. And Happy Anniversary ❤️
Thanks, B! xoxo

You’re welcome. I was to happy have seen it.❤️
Happy Anniversary, Liz! ✨ LET’S GO METS!!
Thanks, Jolene!
So happy to hear the Callaway sisters’ concert at 54 Below is being live-streamed on November 30.
Makes for a very happy Thanksgiving.
It’s always a good day when “Between Flights” arrives in my mailbox
“Since You Stayed Here” is one of my favorite Liz Callaway songs. It never fails to bring a few tears.
Liz, I remember the Bill Buckner error during that Mets/Red Sox game. It still haunts us old Red Sox fans from Boston.
Happy Anniversary, dear Liz & Dan!
I'm so glad you are enjoying my newsletter, Bob, and that you'll be watching our livestream.
