Fabulous newsletter!! Please tell Ann that The Kammy is being spread outside social media too. I got it from an NTE friend and I passed it to 15 Arizona a friends and so on and so on!!! “Impossible Dream” video was very emotional - a friend of ours is currently fighting the same battle! Kudos to Aaron on his album. Hugs to you❤️ Tina
So glad you are streaming your Thanksgiving show. I wanted to see it live, but I don't think I can stand traveling over a major holiday again. I had the pleasure of seeing last year's Christmas show live. However,I don't think I'll ever have the patience to deal with airports over the holidays again.
Plus,my traditional role for Thanksgiving with my friends is supplying the booze. I'll be damned if they are going to drink it without me.
Saw Ann in Chicago, well actually, Skokie. Needless to say ,she was great. PLEASE come to Chicago or someplace near. I love seeing you live, as does my sister, who doesn’t get excited about much of anything.
Mary, I am working on getting a Chicago date. It's been way too long. Glad you will be livestreaming our show- travel that weekend is no fun! Lets Go Mets!
I so enjoy reading your newsletter and following your "happenings." Sending good thoughts for continued success! Had a wonderful visit with Ann this past weekend when she brought her "Finding Beauty" show to St Louis at the Blue Strawberry. Now we have to get the two of you here!!
Really enjoying your newsletter. This one was especially interesting to me - especially your description of how much effort and practice goes into the craft of performing songs effectively. I've been singing for years, and appreciate the time you spend on your craft and the beauty of your performances. I've spent hours learning songs, listening to various renditions, creating a second script, and rehearsing until the song becomes personal and meaningful. I also agree about some lyrics being particularly challenging to memorize. I've been thinking about singing "Theme From the Valley of the Dolls," and looking at the lyrics, I can see why it would be a challenge! I still hope to take a Master Class from you someday. Thank you for your sharing your gifts. Best wishes, Jenifer Tice
Your newsletters are always interesting. But I think this one especially so. I am so happy for you that your voice is so incredibly wonderful and you are able to travel and bring your music and the music that a lot of us love around the country.
Love the newsletter. Keep surprising us. I shared "Kammy" on my Facebook page..and on it goes. I am going to email you and Ann about Stars at Sea and an idea I have for Cabaret Scenes.
I first 'met' you on Stars in the House during lockdown, although I learned I have been a fan of your work without realizing it. I love these newsletters.
My request for future issues is voice preservation tips. My vocal cords got damaged by pneumonia when I was mom's caregiver and I'm trying to coax them back to health now. Any DIY tips would be great.
Best wishes to you and the All My Children guy my mom adored. 😉
Hi Cyndy. I'm so sorry you have been having vocal difficulties. I'm not an expert on the human voice- I would suggest you see a professional for that. But I will say, don't push your voice. The voice is very connected to our emotions, and I know from experience that being a caregiver is very hard. Be gentle with yourself. Be patient. And drink plenty of water. xoxo
Congratulations on the anniversary of your newsletter Liz. Love it and always look forward to getting it. I ordered “ the impossible dream “.also love “ the kammy”, a reworking of Ann’s accountant’s favorite song. Enjoy the fall. Good luck for your Mets⚾️⚾️❤️❤️❤️
I love your monthly Substacks! Also, the Impossible Dream clip was wonderful -- on my way to purchase the album! Am also happy Thanksgiving with sis will be live streamed. I'm in NYC week before for theater -- someday will get my schedule coordinated with yours! P.S. Have shared Harris Walz version of Nanny theme song with everyone!
Love this, love you! ❤️❤️❤️
And I love YOU! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks, Tina. And thanks for sharing our video in AZ. My prayers for your friend.
I love reading about all that you are doing. You are such a brilliant singer and you have brought so much musical joy to my life. Thank you!
Thank you, Angelo!

Hi Lynn. More soup recipes is a great idea. Please email me with your cruise idea. A Cabaret Scenes piece would be great.
